Nice pub, open until 11pm which is becoming a rarity on week days, although they have just announced (Feb 2024) that they wont be opening at all on Mondays & Tuesdays for the foreseeable!!

So impressed by menu and prices. Just need more people to find this hidden gem and then the atmosphere will be 5* too. We’ll be back and wishing the new management every success. Please support local businesses.

It's a really nice country pub, good food ,very friendly and helpful staff , one of our party has a garlic allergy, our waitress went to the kitchen several times to get my friends questions answered, you can't get better than that . I would recommend a visit .

Haven’t been here for a long time so had heard it was under new management. Food was nice and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back.

Lovely afternoon, the garden was bright and sunny and the bar pleasantly cool. The staff were fun and happy to help. We will definitely be going back again.

We ate here last night. The food was amazing. I highly recommend it. 5* all the way. The prawn cocktail was lush, loads of prawns. The young lad, Charlie behind the bar, was clearly made to work in hospitality. The pub was very welcoming, clean, tidy and has plenty of parking. Amazing food staff and service. Lots of space. Tables cleaned thoroughly between people sitting down. Really lovely to watch all the old war planes practice up above too. Great value and absolute worth a visit.

A really nice pub the staff made us feel so welcome and were so friendly. The food was really good (we all had a Sunday roast) and the price’s are fair 😊

We stopped here somewhat randomly in the middle of a journey and were pleasantly surprised. It was the second day of pubs starting to re-open in the UK and The Bull had clearly gone to a lot of trouble to keep their staff and customers safe. The beer garden had been arranged to keep tables several metres apart - even more than the guidelines I believe, see photo. Service was table service with call buttons on each table and staff well protected by face visors and careful to keep their distance from customers while serving. Friendly too! All in all a very pleasant and safe feeling pint of ale in the afternoon sunshine. The food smelled pretty nice too but we didn't have time to sample it.
