Enjoyed a Birthday celebration here yesterday evening. The Food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a great atmosphere and ticked all the boxes. It was my first visit but it will not be the last! Well worth a visit and recommended.

Was lucky enough to experience a Sunday roast on the first day of The George opening back up again for meals. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was very attentive and friendly. The meal was absolutely superb! Plenty of food, amazing quality and well priced for such high quality. Didn’t really have enough space pudding but couldn’t say no and was not disappointed. We are already looking forward to coming back for another visit. Thank you Team George for a lovely afternoon! Vegetarian options: Vegetarians well catered for Dietary restrictions: They were able to give clear guidance on ingredients and catered well for vegetarians and peanut allergies Parking: Plenty of parking available locally

Really good local community pub for the locals and visitors. Cannot rate the food personally as we have not eaten there but we hear good things from various sources. Great atmosphere.

A really nice pub to enjoy lunch, afternoon or evening with a beer. The ambience is wonderful and quiet. The service is very friendly. A visit is recommended for everyone.

Just popped in to see what the pub is like now that it has re-opened. Am so glad we did. Was greeted by a friendly atmosphere, and found the decor to be nice, with a clean but ‘country’ feel to it. The two ladies serving were very welcoming, and seemed enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the impressive range of drinks on tap (was pleased to see normal Guinness on draught, rather than the inferior Extra Cold version). Will definitely be back soon to sample more of the drinks, and food when we have more time (I’ve awarded any stars for this, as we didn’t eat at the pub).

So loved this pub. Have done for 30 years. But….this is not a kindergarten!!! It is a pub. I do not want to sit there whilst kids run amok, screaming, playing hide and seek. No.

Went there for a quiz evening. Great people run the George. Please visit and support it. They currently don't do food, but will certainly be looking forward to that

Great friendly pub, lots of activities going on like quizes and food nights. Perfect for a walk with the dogs.

Great what the village have done to create and keep this as a village asset. However they have no kids policy and it was like a play school when we visited for a quiet drink.

Although the kitchen is not ready just yet the cakes etc. on offer are excellent. Wishing this establishment every success moving forward. Lovely pub with well kept ales 🍻🍻🍺 😀
